Picnic Hill Create is excited to partner with Cards for Cubs, a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to bringing smiles to children in foster care across the United States.

Cards for Cubs collects and distributes handmade birthday and encouragement cards, which are then given to children by their case workers. These small gestures can make a big difference in a child's life, letting them know they are thought of and cared for.

We're aiming to collect a whopping 1,500 handmade cards by March 29, 2025, and we need YOUR help! Let's work together to brighten the days of these children.

How You Can Participate:

Get creative and start crafting! We're looking for handmade cards in two themes:

Birthday Cards: Celebrate their special day with colorful and cheerful birthday cards.

Encouragement Cards: Offer words of support, hope, and inspiration to uplift their spirits.

Card Guidelines:Cards should be handmade (any medium is welcome!).Please keep messages positive and encouraging.Avoid including personal information (like your name or address).Cards should be appropriate for children of all ages.

How to Donate Your Cards:

Drop-off Location: Bring your handmade cards to the Picnic Hill Create studio at 5930 S 58th Street, Suite F/G, Lincoln, Nebraska, during our business hours: Tues 10-6, Wed 10-5, Thurs 10-4, Fri 10-5, Sat 10-4

Contactless Drop-off: Collection box at Picnic Hill Create booth at Painted Tree Boutiques, 27th and Pine Lake Road, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Our Goal:

We're determined to reach our goal of 1,500 cards by March 29, 2025. Every card counts, and together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these children.
